We are a 501c3 rescue with a mission of saving horses who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. We strive to give them a healthy safe place to rehabilitate and hopefully find a forever home. We also educate the public on the problems of abuse and neglect and strive to help stop animal abuse all together.

Meet Character. He is a 23 year old grade horse. He was used for kids to ride and on trails for quite awhile. He came to us as the owners were having trouble keeping weight on him, and we are hoping to take care of that. Once he is healthy again, he will be available for adoption!

About

We are a 501c3 non profit rescue in the Carolinas. We rescue horses from situations of abuse, neglect, and owner surrenders. We help them become healthy, happy horses and at times find them permanant loving homes. For the ones who are not adoptable, we are also their sanctuary.

Look at our horses that have been adopted! We have been very fortunate to be able to find wonderful homes for these horses that have come to us. And we continue to help more horses and find more wonderful homes for them.

Donate

We are all volunteer, and we rely on donations from the public and caring people like you. Caring for horses can get pricey, and with special feed, hay, supplements, vet bills and farrier bills, we can not do this without your wonderful donations. Every penny goes to the horses here at R.E.A.R.S. Rescue. All donations are tax deductable!
